Stella is
out of our May 2007 litter and has been a pleasure to own and
show. She was awarded "Best Puppy" at the 2008 IWCA
National Specialty by Judge Kathleen Kelly, Nutstown Irish
Wolfhounds, Ireland. We thank Mrs. Kelly for recognizing the
quality of this young hound. She has earned both of her majors...
one by going Best of Breed over Specials and only needs a few
points to complete her Championship. She is currently being shown
on a limited basis. We have practiced Stella on the lure and will
give her a chance to earn her JC at the 2009 Specialty. She will
be CERF'ed and heart tested at the 2009 Specialty with the intent
of completing CHIC certification in 2009.

Stella
was shown at the 2008 Specialty in the Sweeps class by our son
Sean. Sean is Stella's co-owner as well and did a beautiful job
of showing Stella to first in her class. He even managed to beat
out his Mom who was showing Stella's sister Norah. We would like
to thank Steve Levan, Sweepstakes Judge, for his infinite
patience and wonderful comments for both Stella and Sean in the
Harp and Hound.
